Two Common Reasons for Reduced Suction—and How to Fix Them

A reminder for all parents:
The suction strength of the CHIBOJI nasal aspirator is adjustable.
Different pulling distances provide different suction levels:

(1) Pull the handle all the way out for maximum suction.

(2) Pull it halfway for medium suction.

(3) Pull it one-third of the way for gentler suction.

Parents can test the suction strength on the back of their hand first.
as every baby responds differently.
Some babies have more sensitive nasal passages,
while others may find the experience soothing 🥰🥰

❗️❗️ Important Reminder for Parents ❗️❗️

Just like blowing your nose, the nasal passages may become injured if:
1. They are already irritated or injured.
2. The nose is severely congested or blocked.

forcing mucus out by blowing or suctioning
may cause further irritation or injury.

👩🏻‍💼👩🏻‍💼 We therefore recommend:
If the nasal passages are already irritated or injured, do not use the nasal aspirator, or use a gentler suction level.
If the nose is congested or blocked, first use steam or warm water to soften the mucus—for example, with a humidifier or by washing the face with warm water.
